The American Saddle Horse

The American Saddle Horse, sometimes called the Kentucky Saddler, makes an excellent riding horse for most purposes, but is now bred chiefly for the show ring where it is often an admirable exponent of the five gaits, trot, canter, rack, slow gait and walk.

These horses have great beauty and tremendous presence, and as well as being the showiest of almost all breeds they also have gentle natures and considerable stamina.
